The FFK Virtual Pack is an inclusive, fun, inspiring, vigorous exercise pack aimed towards children.
This pack will improve their physical health and wellbeing. It will assist them in reaching their full potential in their academic years and will give them the knowledge and skills they need to take ownership of their futures and live a healthier, happier and safer life.
Within the 20min educational HIIT sessions we will
educate our FFK in these areas…
The great fire of London
House fire HIIT
Along with getting a fun fire related HIIT workout you will also receive complimentary worksheets to reinforce the learning points we have covered throughout the session. They will also include points and adaptions for teachers to help critique the session and improve our FFK efficiency and movement patterns.
Burners are quick intense HIIT sessions which will safely and effectively get your pupils from rest to vigorous exercise in that designated period of time. The exercises will be simple but will give maximum HIIT benefits. We provide lots of encouragement and the sessions will be high energy.
There’s more than enough HIITs on this package for a different session each day of the week. With the choice of either a 5 or 10 min session they will fit in amongst your busy school day and will help your pupils achieve their 30 minutes of activity they should be hitting.
Warm up and cool downs
You can use these before or after a PE lesson or HIIT session, but don’t worry if you don’t have time to add them to the 20min HIIT or burner sessions as it’s not essential. We will increase the intensity throughout the sessions so that everyone will be exercising safely.
Stretch and flow session
Children should stretch when their muscles are warmed. This is why we provide a stretch and flow session. Stretching helps children's bodies recover after exercise. Stretching also helps children's bodies become and remain flexible (able to move joints and muscles in a full range of motion) as they grow into adulthood.
First Aid sessions featuring R and R Training Solutions
Many children are often unfortunately put in the situation which requires the need for first aid care to be provided. Most do not have the confidence to deal with the situation, the importance of first aid being taught in schools cannot be underestimated.
First aid is an important life skill that helps reduce fatalities and enables the faster treatment of injuries. It also has an important role to play in providing staff and pupils with a sense of purpose and achievement, giving them the skills that will potentially save lives. First aid is emergency care given immediately to an injured person – By receiving training through their school years it gives them the confidence and knowledge to be able to deal with first aid incidents and not to be afraid of helping casualties. With Defibrillators in nearly every school, Park and Shopping centre it is essential they understand how these can be used to possibly save someone’s life.
